Andrew Royle

Andrew Royle leads Ascendant Engineering.  He is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy and earned a masters degree from the University of Maryland, where he focused on the systems acquisition process and the use of non-traditional development methodologies to reduce development cycle timelines for major systems. 

 

Andrew has authored numerous papers on project management and systems engineering activities associated with the GOES-R Ground System, where he served as Chief Engineer.  He is a former Air Force officer and has spent the last 15 years in support of NASA and NOAA programs at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD.
